Dr. Sarah Varricchio, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Varricchio has been with the Hear Again Center since 2009. Prior to joining the Hear Again Center team, she worked in an ear, nose, and throat clinic and has extensive experience with various aspects of diagnostic audiology. She has a strong passion for hearing aid programming and troubleshooting. Dr. Varricchio firmly believes in the benefit of auditory rehabilitation to work in conjunction with all hearing aid fittings. She feels the counseling aspect is so important, and it can dictate the success or failure of any hearing aid outcome. Dr. Olchanowski always says, “The hearing aid is only part of the solution.”
Dr. Varricchio is originally from Connecticut, and she received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut. She moved to Tucson, Arizona for three years to pursue her postgraduate career, and she received a master’s degree and doctorate from the University of Arizona. Dr. Varricchio is a licensed Audiologist in Connecticut and a Fellow of the Academy of Audiology.

Stacey began working in the hearing industry in 2014 and was drawn to the profession because of her younger sister, who suffers from hearing difficulties. Stacey saw firsthand the implications of her sister’s loss on their relationships with family members and on her own quality of life. This experience guided her professional decision to become a hearing instrument specialist.
What Stacey loves most about helping those with hearing loss is connecting people to their world again. Stacey strives for precise, custom solutions, concierge-level care, and verified best hearing in her everyday work with patients.
Outside of saving hearing lives, Stacey loves enjoying the experience of being a new mom and spending time with family.
Patient Services Coordinator
Lisa is the Patient Service Coordinator for the West Hartford office. She joined the Hear Again in 2012.
Lisa has been in the medical field for six years and began by studying nursing at Western Connecticut State University. She also knows Sign Language. Lisa grew up with hearing loss in her family. Her father and two siblings being hearing impaired, Lisa has knowledge of the day to day struggles of a hearing disability and the toll it may take on family life if left untreated. “It is a struggle to build and maintain a relationship with a parent who only hears half of what you are saying. It is often hard to share exciting news about your life and have no response from family, knowing they didn’t hear what you said.”
Lisa hopes her contribution to Hear Again Center will help more families and love ones build better relationships and maintain strong bonds.
